Man can fly to regions that the birds have never been to but man still does not know how to control himself. Truly wise man.

Prophet Muhammad peace blessing of Allah be upon him said “Verily, in the body there is a piece of flesh. When it is sound, the whole body is sound and when it is corrupted, then the whole body is corrupted. Verily, it is the heart.”

I remember during my school days, I used to read the writings of al-Attas about Islam in South East Asia. He is well learned I must admit, though I may disagree on some of his historical observation. The good thing is that he stressed the role played by the sufis in the spread of Islam in SEA; he see things from a different perspective than the western historians.

Truly grateful for such recordings! It’s unexpected that Hamza Yusuf Hanson has been afflicted with testicular cancer for which he is receiving treatment at present. He continues his battle with cancer amidst his declining health. Death is indeed the ultimate end of all men, great or small!

الكلمتان 'العبقرية' (genius) و 'الجنس' (genus) ... متشابهان في لغة الانجليسية ...،لكن يوجد خطأ في بداية الترجمة، كان يقصد الشيخ الكلمة 'الجنس' (genus)
