The answer for Mr. Killas question regarding the question of slave is 1. Islam doesn't encourage taking slave during war. 2. Islam can not avoid taking slave unilaterally during war because all the parties involved in the war has to agree for not taking slaves. If the Muslims stop taking slaves unilaterally and the opposite party keep taking the slaves, then only Muslim slaves left with the opposite party at the end and it is not fare for the Muslims. 3. By freeing slaves, Islam slowly eradicating the slavery. Islam encourage and reward a Muslim for freeing slaves.

1:05:12 Abrogation also exists in the Torah. For instance, God allowed Noah to eat from all kinds of animals after they left the ark, then prohibited eating some types of foods in the time of Moses. Further, marrying two sisters to one man was allowed for Israel and his children, but God prohibited this practice later in the Torah. God commanded Abraham to slaughter his son, then repealed that command before it was implemented.

2:25:50 In the arabic version, Abu Sufyan never said "the Prophet". He just said : "I would have lied about him" (la kadhabtu 'anhu). I think, it's the translator who used the word "Prophet". This is why it's important to have the narration in the original language. فَوَاللَّهِ لَوْلاَ الْحَيَاءُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْثِرُوا عَلَىَّ كَذِبًا لَكَذَبْتُ عَنْهُ (Sahih al Bukhary, hadith n°7)

So in Christianity there is neither Justice nor Mercy, only confusion, as the caller demonstrated."" ???? Do you think I am a christian? I am agnostic. I told hamza I was agnostic in his warm up, I typed it in chat when they asked before I got in the stream. I use this same argument against christians all the time too. The justice and forgiveness is the same for both religions, punishment is hell forgiveness is heaven, you do not fair any better. They do have the major problem I point out when they start to say jesus took the punishment for everyone so there was maximal justice. The problem with this is punishing the only innocent person to ever live (according to them, and you I believe) for the crimes of others is completely unjust. We consider it a great injustice when innocent people get punished for others crimes. #1 Do you consider yourself to be honest? #2 Do you value truth? #3 Do you understand the verse about questions? >>Mac Mac saying by showing mercy i can't be just, but i can be just be being mercy full, just say someone killed my child and i beat the guy up, the judge badly, the judge can be mercy full and give me a lesser sentence because of the situation"" That is justice. That is why you go to court and the police dont just throw you in jail with maximum sentence with no trail if you are caught red handed. The judge giving you a lesser sentence or even just letting you go completely is justice as that is what is deserving. This is why courts try and get the real story, the real situations so they can apply the proper amount of justice. You are welcome to come to my thread above and we can debate this.

" _And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah. Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers_ .” (Quran 42:40) In Islam, serving Justice is the default mode, in so far as enforcement of relevant laws without bias is concerned. However, it is also the case that in Islam, wherever there is scope for the application of mercy, one must actively look to apply mercy, above and beyond the mere enforcement of laws. Thus mercy is ingrained as part of a larger justice system in Islam, and this is what Allah himself follows. Indeed, if Allah were only being just to ensure the integrity of his commandments, and his punishments thereof, then, for the violations of his commandments - the world would have been no more, given all our collective repeated, brazen sins. But he is the most merciful, and he keeps giving us chances from his unlimited mercy - at the end of which he promises perfect justice. Thus both Justice and mercy compliment each other in Islam in a beautiful way without contradiction.

Your question obviously (and obviously, not obvious to you though!) has incomplete information to begin with. To start - there are several assumptions to be made in your question to even begin to answer it. Here are some: 1. Are all the judges maximally honest and unbiased ? 2. Are all the judges equally privy to ALL of the relevant information about ALL the criminals in question? 3. Are all the judges EQUALLY clear about the CORRECT interpretation of all of the applicable laws in the case ? 4. Are all the "criminals" in question correctly accused of the exact same crime, with practically the same implications and background to consider them as almost being the same case? If the answer to all these questions are a YES, then it is logically impossible for judge # 3 and judge #4 to give the judgements they apparently gave in your story. On the other hand, if the answer to any of these questions is a NO, then we have a divergent scenario , and therefore the ultimate answer you seek out of asking this generalized question over the collective of the criminals, would be a corrupted one, and will have no further truth value that is of general consequence. In light of this, if you decide to say the answer to all the questions are a "YES", and if you restrict the question to just about the judges #1 and #2, then we may have something to talk about.

Jazak Allah khairan brothers. I am thinking there could be another answer to the people that bring up Torah. What I heard here is that the earliest complete manuscript of the Torah is from 11th century. This means that it came after Islam and Quran. Could it be that they tried to copy Islamic sciences of transmission etc. Also they could have changed the their Torah so it does not confirm s what is in Quran. So what the jews om Medina asked the Prophet (pbuh) could have been known to the jews of that time but later changed.... and Allah knows best.
