I never really understood the deeper meaning for Hana, I just thought it was a really nice song but it's so nice to hear what Kaze might've wanted to express through Will's cover. Will cover's slaps as well as usual

I don’t think the lyrics are exactly 1:1 but if you want, just put on English subtitles on kaze’s video and you’ll see the original meaning

i mean tbh everyone has different interpretations and i actually disagree with some of the lyrics in this video but ig thats what makes music art but if you like look at all songs kaze did (especially from the tiny desk concert) and then hana i feel like they also kinda give the same meaning or like they fit into each other my general interpretation of hana was like him having a funeral of his old self for a new and better self but the facial expression when he says his old self is dying is actually him smiling... The dancing people imo are like all the other fujis there are ig etc etc and i also love the quote of him from the tiny desk concert where he kinda says everyone has happiness inside of themselves and all you have to do is show it to others (or rather let it out) and you'll find your own happiness and make others happy as well but yeah imo lots of interpretation possible (especially with the setting of the video and him talking abt blooming flowers, made me feel like he portrays that quote again and also says bloom even though you're in an abyss or something)
