When I was studying hanbok design I was the only foreigner and one of the only male design students. The late Lee Young Hee was one of my mentors and she was the first designer to introduce hanbok to the world-Paris and New York. She was also commissioned to create the hanbok for Barbie.

Wow Nathan what a busy day you had yesterday. First a wonderful live stream and then this amazing fashion show in the evening. I thought all the Hanbok designs were beautiful but I particularly loved the blue dresses - the first of these was my favourite and when the model turned around and you saw the detail on the back just lovely. Thank you, Nathan!! The Hanbok is very elegant and classy, in dramas, on the street I think it is beautiful and enhances the wearer. Having it touch back to earlier times and being honoured through the ages is timeless. The modern designs capture aspects of the clothes and the spirit that embraces them. I hope you and Jennifer are well. I love your content and think about past vlogs I've seen of yours when I see scenes in movies, dramas or just remember them myself. Take Care.

Amazingly beautiful. It is nice to see the basic traditional Hanbok designs are kept, the colors are fabulous and materials and prints beautifully incorporated in the Hanboks.
