Hand Carved Christmas Penguin | Wood Carving | Santa Carving

This video is a fun little festive carving of a penguin with a Santa hat! Hand carved, pretty simple project you can do with just your carving knife. I used a roughing knife, detail knife and a 'v' tool at the end for a couple of details on the hat but this is not necessary. Christmas will be here before you know it so start making some Christmas ornaments for gifts or for around the house. Hope you enjoy!
Wood: Basswood
Dimensions: 1 1/4 inches x 1 1/4 inches x 5 1/2 inches

I've never carved wood before, unless you count stripping a branch to make a witch broom for Halloween (and I don't, lol) but the combination of the music and carving is so soothing that while I was watching I was convinced I could learn to do this too. Just subbed! I might be trying my hand at this. 💖
