Dear Mario, I happened to buy a Genko grinder just like yours, brand new. It is on its way. I would like to know if you had to use any bushings for the new grinding wheel or not. I have a simplier Venusberg model which I upgraded with plastic Yato bushing but still does not run smoothly. Yours seems to be perfect. Thank you for your answer.

Excellent adaptation of 'old' technology Mario with the addition of a modern tool rest, and your demo clearly shows these are perfectly usable even in a modern workshop. Do you happen to know when your Genko grinder was made? I know they're fairly recent but can't seem to find dates of manufacture (searching in English).
