A Celtic tradition called Samhain Festival, a day where parents would give two-thirds of their children to sacrifice, so that evil and darkness shall never disturb them...
Or so I heard. I thought it's certainly a fitting introduction for someone who shall become a king.
Also I read the story of Lleu Llaw Gyffes just some days ago, it hurts me quite a bit...
But that's no problem, it became my motivation to draw the movie materials. Thank you Lleu Llaw Gyffes.
Happy Birthday, Eli Clark. I hope you the best happiness.
(Also, I've been seeing information about Eli's age from some sources, it seems I am 3 years older than him.)
--
The child he had spared lived,
wrapped in a net, one foot on a cauldron
and his other foot on a goat.
The child is confused and gibberish,
just like the day he saw him the last time.
As pitiful and as beautiful as he had always been.
The invitation has been accepted,
and the promise has been fulfilled.
One out of seven, and tonight one out of four.
He shall spare the child again.
Not for him to let go again,
but for him to have for himself surely.
The child had always been his,
and the moon shall spectate.
'With this I shall celebrate
the day you came to this world,
child of man, the endearing one,
whose shoulder I put my gaze upon,'
'Eli Clark'
