Hi Mrs Donna, rather a silly question, instead of having us to soften a stiff clay just like Kato clay, wouldn't it be better if Kato clay come into a softer version? Or perhaps this would affect the strength of the final project. Thanks a lot 😊

Good question, Annita! I think it’s actually easier and more controllable to add a bit of softener than it is to leach a soft clay to make it harder. The Conditioning Bar is great stuff, it softens quickly and without crumbling or loss of strength. It does make the clay more flexible than Kato is ordinarily. With many projects, you want rigid, hard surface clay. With others, flexibility. I dial in what I need at the time! One day, we may do soft, that can happen❤️
