In both + cyl nd - cyl the object movement in same direction of rotation...then how we find is it a - cyl or + cyl?? Plz sir clear my doubt 🙏🙏

Sir I am in my early 20s but using bifocal..They said adaptation issue. My eye prescription is OD -5.00,-3.00@10° OS -4.00,-2.5@170° Add +0.75 in both eyes. Can I use progressive lenses instead of bifocals. Please do a video about this issue.

Pls I have questions: 1. Is it that when a spherocylinder is neutralised, there is still movement of the individual sphere and cylinder? 2. Is a prescription with spherocyl neutralised with sphere or cylinder? I didn't understand 3. In hand neutralization, do remember that a person's fitted prescription is what you're neutralising with the lenses of the trial lens box, so how is that done in the spherocyl?

We can neutralize the lens power with the procedure that, if you find with movement ( lens and object are moving in same direction) then it means it's a minus spherical lens , then you can judge the power of lens with same plus spherical,

I do not understand sir. Let's say i pick up a fitted spherocyl lens, do i pick up a sphere lens or a cyl lens from the TLC to neutralise?

@@Jaycycar 1st of all u have to conform the sphere type I.e either it is a minus or plus (simply by checking the lens movement, as explained by sir in this video) Then u have to pick up the lens from your inventory (starting from .25 and onwards unless until you get a neutralize point (that point where you will get no movement any further) and that will be the power of sphere incorporated in the glasses Then similarly you have to neutralize cyl by knowing the cyl type (I.e either it's with or against )(by checking its scissor like movement , also explained by sir in this video ) Then in the same way you will get your neutralize point for cyl . Am I right sir? If I wrong, then plzzz do correct us

@Maya Arish When you neutralize the cyl, there will be no scissor movement anymore? Then how do you get the axis to write down then?

@@Jaycycar Yes exactly there will be no more any movement when u are at neutralize point And for axis This is a hand-held-technique , so.axis difficult to find I think so....

Sir; by hand neutralisation If we have to neutralize a lens Let's suppose our glasses are sphero cylindrical with Rx:-5/+3×150° , 1st of all we will neutralize the with movement of sphere by doing increment in lens power(from our inventory), starting from -.25 to onwards unless until we get any neutralize point N then similarly we'll neutralize distorted movement which will of cylinder N finally will come to have our sphero cylinder powers But Respected sir Is this an accurate method in comparison to lensometer Bcz some lensometers can also give a difference of .50 in Rx That's y m asking this sir

Yes dear you are right.. This is just a crude method to get a rough idea. You need an accurate lensometer to get accurate reading and values of the lens.
