There is a huge variety of wonderful wools out there for you have a go at hand spinning and the blue faced leister is one of the finest. It has a long staple length, a wonderful lustre without being too slippery and a softness that s just wonderful next to the skin

It has a matte (muted) look than the vibrancy of merino. Kind of gives it a moody tone. It's gorgeous!
