Күн бұрын

This is my adventure lately in organizing the hand tools in the new, still tiny, workshop and the wall remodel so it has like a Japanese feel to blend with most of the Japanese tools I use. Western planes and other tools have also their place there. The shelves and cabinets are made from ash wood and danish oil finish.
Plans available too on my store www.adrianpred...

This is total woodworking eye candy. The attention to detail is astonishing. I did not know cuts like that were possible using hand tools. This makes me rethink my approach to fine versus utilitarian builds. It’s a whole new level to learn and aspire towards

Watching you vacuum reminds me of my shop 😁! My wife tells me that all she ever sees me do is clean in the shop. It's kind of true! Anytime I make anything from wood it just makes such a huge mess. I spend so much time just cleaning and putting things away. I need better organization and dust collection.

Class act! Sweet collection of fine Japanese woodworking hand tools. I’ve never seen the bench top jointer/planer you used. I have an old Hitachi jointer/planer that is noisy and the plastic housing is self destructing but it works beautifully. I also have the same all steel marking knife as you that I have had for many years but I certainly don’t have such an elegant way to keep it. I’m inspired to make little Japanese style tool boxes such as yours to keep such items. Thank you for sharing your skill and knowledge.
