Your point about having a big bag and feeling like you need to fill up that space is EXACTLY why I haven't gotten around to buying another capacious bag. My back and shoulders cannot take that weight for an extended period of time but the moment I whip out a tote I'm like: yep, I really need to bring that book or planner or bottle of water or tablet even if I actually don't! 😂

I agree with u on so many things that u mentioned namely the bigger the bag the more items I want to put in it. Which is why I’ve down sized to small to medium bags I have a couple of large totes that I mainly use for travel. TFS ❤🌷😍

Yes my gosh I’m nodding my head yes yes I’m barely using a bag I absolutely love and I’m eyeing another bag. I’m never going change I’m just a bag lady ❤ Great review and your bag collection is amazing. ❤ what is your impression of the Alma GM ? Yes the bigger the bag I carry more 😂 but I love it ❤ yes I been wanting the vintage papillon for years . The 26 was too small so the 30 is what I’m eyeing.

Love how excited you are! I also expected more than 5 bags to be on your list. Your choices are awesome! I have my eye on the LV Go14 Pico in beige/pink, LV high rise bumbag in mono canvas, LV side trunk pm in mono but need to see in person due to small opening, Dior D-Joy in pink leather, and I might be ready to add a Chanel mini reissue bag. Looking at ones on Fashionphile pre loved, but I love the lilac one on the Chanel site new. I also want to get into a Fendi to try on the mini baguette in a pink leather. Can't wait to see what you add this year! Have a fab weekend!

I, like you, am not sure about which one yet. However, that black/cream tweed CF with the Chanel ribbon running through it-OMG!! I have loved it since the first day I ever saw it. I have the mini baguette in the embossed leather in a fun lollypop pink color, from a few years ago. I absolutely love it, it’s a go to bag for me. I love that the bag is so squishy too, I keep touching it whenever I wear it. And it fits a surprising amount of items, definitely fits all my daily essentials.

I think this is the first year I have really sat down and thought about my wishlist. I realized that in 2023 I was just buying buying buying and now I’m like ok what are pieces you really want. So, I made a handbag and slg wishlist and told myself I’m going to stick to that list. So far I’ve done good only strayed once 🤦🏾♀️🤣.

Hi Minnie, You were missed! So glad you are back. I love your wish list. They all seem like great additions should they find their way to your collection. My number one on my list this year is a Malletage Alma BB in navy. The bag is a stunner. My birthday is in August, so maybe a birthday present? I just brought home my other wish list item: Lambskin, Chanel Jumbo in dark grey. She's a beauty! (pre-loved, but in excellent condition).

I had the original Papillon with the baby Papillon (bought separately). I wanted that bag since the early 80s. When I finally got it I realized it was not for me. I am definitely a shoulder carry kind of girl and the new version just worked better for me. So I got that. Can’t say I have used it much but you have now inspired me to do so. The baby Papillon and the mini pouchette I call my “granddaughter bags”. I don’t have granddaughters yet but I can imagine them walking around the house with them on their little shoulders. The thought cracks me up 😂

I had the same struggle re the mini baguette pricing! I wanted the zucca print but it annoyed me that it was the same price as the nappa leather version... But in the end I just loved the look of the zucca print in the mini, and pulled the trigger on it a couple of weeks ago. And since it was the only bag on my wishlist atm, my list was complete in January 😅

Mini, great video as usual. It seems like so many of my bags come from your recommendations: the side trunk, Neverfull BB, midi Mayfair and all of my MJ totes. My big buy for last year was the GO-14 in the brown and I love it! This year I’m lusting over the Rose Des Vents mini in the Bordeaux ostrich. I did buy the On-The-Go pm in the black empreinte leather and ended up returning it bc it was really so similar to my Marc Jacobs small totes that I knew I wouldn’t reach for it as much as it deserved. Of course, I couldn’t just return a bag…I ended up walking out with a shawl and the Croisette in DE. Thanks so much for your great content and never ending positivity ❤

I love the Mini Baguette also on my wish list in the fabric. I have the small OTG and I never wear it cause it is too open. The neverfull is different. The OTG Is smaller and suggest you get an organizer that has a closing zipper. You can’t leave anything “loose” the bag. So I never wear it. Just my personal opinion. I am more comfortable with handbags that have a proper closure.

Oh Minnie! I’m so glad you said that when you get a bag and before you’ve even used it, you’re already eyeing the next one! That’s me. lol I went into my boutique the other day planning on getting another speedy but in the monogram in a 30 or 35. I have a damier ebene in a 35. I love bigger bags. However, they had the blue damier pop speedy 25 bandouliere and I couldn’t take my eyes off of it so that is what I ended up with. I’ll go in a few weeks for my monogram speedy and I have to admit, I’m surprised that I love the 25 size. I’ll also be getting the Atlantis GM at some point and another pochette Métis. We’d be here all day if I listed my 2024 wishlist. But that’s the start of it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 And again, me too when it comes to purse peace. I want sooooo many bags but I’m just in love with so many. Lol

I’ve owned the Onthego in both MM and GM and I have to say, the empreinte leather in those larger bag sizes does not wear very well. In less than 6 months my GM looked pretty saggy despite using and organizer/shaper and stuffing it. I thought the MM would be better and honestly it was not. I think the PM would be best because it’s quite a bit smaller. In summary, I’d avoid this bag in larger sizes in the leather unless you don’t mind it looking quite worn in.

I LOVE the Side trunk!! But i ordered TWO of the black w silver hardware...when they came they BOTH had 1 gold buckle on the shoulder strap....i was DEVESTATED.....So i just got my money back...

Hey minnie!!! I have the mini baguette in teal and it has been on constant rotation ever since i bought it 4 years ago. The leather is so buttery smooth and for everyday i carry it via crossbody and it’s so comfortable. I am on the hunt for the black and white houndstooth tweed mini but no luck (at a good price at least. Haha) and i am also like you that whenever i carry a big bag, i wanna bring my whole house in it. Hahahaha. It’s always the “i might need it” or “it’better that i bring it just in case” hahahaha

I totally feel like I’ll be judged for carrying a massive bag to only carry around my cles and phone. So time to overfill it! I have a Papillon 26 that my husband bought me back in 2005 and he started my handbag addiction. Pretty sure he regrets that decision ever since. 😂🤣😂🤣

I just sold the Fendi Baguette Mini in Leather. It was TOO soft, kind of hard to open and close because the magnet is so strong and the leather is so soft. The corners might get color transfer on the white so easily. It would never stand up on my shelf (which isn't a deal breaker, but annoying). I think you will love the fabric, you already like the print, and it goes so well with casual outfits and black.

The buttery softness of the leather is exactly what I love about my light pink one, but I can totally see what you’re saying about it not standing up on its own, unlike the classic one.

I'im so with you on the DA side trunk! I can't seem to find any details on it though. I heard somewhere that it's leather, not canvas. And I think I even heard somewhere that it's Vernis. (?? that seems wrong?) If it's canvas I'm all over it! Also the Fendi mini baguette - I'm just waiting for the right one to come along!

Hi Babe! I just got confirmation from my SA, the Side Trunk in DA is vernis 😭 I’m devastated!! Light vernis is prone to yellow and with a $4450 price tag, I don’t think I want to risk it.

now the question is, does the on the go have competition with the new leather Dior book tote? my main focus is the chanel 19, i want a black one but trying to decide if i want the med or large. another is a green CF, i am obsessed with the 21 C min green. now i just need to find it in a med and then decide if i want it lamb or caviar.

That’s exactly what I went to scope out, OTG vs. Book Tote leather. The book tote is more lightweight and I prefer the details on it BUT LV has the edge when it comes to execution of the design, especially the interior. Good luck on deciding and I hope you get exactly what you’re looking for ♥️
