me again ! I'm now 82, still very fashion conscious. The bag I suggest below can also be made in daytime fabrics like denim (using old jeans) . Can be worn cross shoulder nicely for biking, hikes, etc. Easy to make.

It’s nice that such a variety of bags are being shown. Somehow I got stuck in tote mode. They’re handy if you don’t want the extra plastic while ur out. It’s all so much fun!! ❤

What was missing here is the smal, soft fabrics cross shoulder evening bag that is nicely decorated on the front: a huge variety of decorative accessories can be placed (sewed/hooked/glued) on the front. Then you can get up and dance without leaving your bag on the table and it can be made to match your outfit and sit nicely on the hip. That's my idea of looks + charm + usefullness.

With you on the micro bags. And I am done carrying huge bags. So heavy! The bucket bags with flowers are pretty, but seem impractical. It is also impractical to spend thousands on a bag. But I like to see what's out there that I might like in something more affordable.
