I mean it's largely because of their lack of intelligence. I recommend they treat it like Hockey Goalies treat their job. Position yourself better, come out a little on a fastbreak and back up. Don't charge forwards when a scoring chance opens up, you're doing yourself a disfavor. The first nine minutes have a few great blocks and guess what? Goalies stayed in net and GOT the saves. Maybe the charging isn't a good idea? HRMMM (Thinking Emoji Here)

i can understand your feeling but for being a (minor) handball player i can tell you it is not true goal keepers are really valorised in a team and have a huge impact on the match even the second goal less known than the titular have many playtime because there is often a turnover in the mid time or for 7m shot and they can really shine at this time in handball you dont want to stop every shoot but the critical ones and great goalies never misses that up and can easily making sick and crush the morale of the other team
