I've definitely heard this in Sosarme. It's entirely possible he (typically) recycled the music in other works (or that it was pulled into Sosarme from one of them). It's such a beautiful piece, I can't blame him for wanting to re-use it!

This is from "Partenope", third act, same lyrics. Maybe Handel borrowed it for this.... But it's definitely Partenope

I can't stand Christopher Robson's singing. I wish I could, because he can act, but the falsetto is so fake sounding!
