Very informative podcast. The CTO talks about a lot of stuff that I wished to hear from zerodha CTO.

Great insights by Jyotiswarup, I'm also currently building something which will handel ~150k active connections per second sending data per second using GO and redis. BTW, I interviewed for Angle one last year, cleared all rounds, including HR, but got rejected due to other candidate done better in interviews.

This was nice to listen to, I always used to think something I worked had something bigger similar to a trading system, good to feel that I was somewhere on the right track during that time. Thank you!

Java does have Loom and things like Akka's Actor model is still closely equivalent to Go routines.

its not about which language has what features. it is about how easy/intuitive it is to use them.

@@gauravaws20 Hey sure. Easy / intuitive is subjective generally unless is it backed by some points on which we can actually debate on. I was trying to just call out the comparison made by the CTO. He kept comparing Java's threads to OS threads, that is outdated actually (may be like from 10 years ago?), so I called it out. I have been using Akka actors on JVM for ~10 years and they scale well beyond OS thread limits. Something for folks who might not know to actually know :)
