I admire the time you have invested into this project. You created something spectacular from scratch, and it was a success at all levels. You did something extraordinary, you are listed as a professional. The unit is cooled at high Temperatures, and the operation system is constant with no defaults detected. If the fuel capacity consumptions is low at high Rpms, it is gauged as an efficient power plant using more Air than fuel to transmit maximum power. Overall? Good Job! I like your Work. Your doing something many individuals never think about.

Great! You should Make a electronic starter for the engine and use the Xicoy Fadec V10 ECU . Then you'll be set.

Thank you for the bilingual captions, my high school German was for too long ago and too basic to keep up otherwise! Did I see something dripping from the bottom of the engine between 5:20 and 5:35? Hopefully that was expected behaviour!

With potential for high frequency vibration, wouldn't you want your diffuser made of a forged aluminum? Get yourself some used forged aluminum piston from a high compression engine and mill them from that. Don't get me wrong the whole project super cool. Well done!!

Wirklich genial! Ich grübele grad was der Diffusor thermisch aushalten muss. Reichen da knapp unter 300grad Celsius?
@rcpowres2 жыл бұрын
Grüße in Richtung Hannover!
@Praendy2 жыл бұрын
Danke😉 Andy
@rcpowres2 жыл бұрын
Ah ok!
@Praendy2 жыл бұрын
Andy
@rcpowres2 жыл бұрын

How does this engine work with gas fuel and liquid fuel?
@Praendy2 жыл бұрын
Hi, the engine only works with liquid fuel. I tried a 5 Liter Propan gas bottle, but there is not enough flow to the engine. So the gas is for preheating the combustion chamber until fuel is entering. Andy

Habe ich das richtig gesehen, 55kg Schub?
@Praendy2 жыл бұрын
Also 40-45 Kg sind möglich😉 Andy

How the faq did you make a jet engine ,let alone by hand , i was under impression turbines need some exotic materials and some fine craftsmanship because they spin fast , have to be very precise , you cant make that by hand , you hand is not that precise . Its like Telescope , cant grind telescope mirror by hand it will be real bad , you need tools . Tho i never made a turbine , so i dont know , maybe you can make it .

@gus23a2 жыл бұрын
Yes.
@Praendy2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thats no problem in Germany. There would be only a restriction if the engine would fly. In Germany we have a max take off weight of 25 Kg. Above 25 Kg the plane needs an official check from the LBA. Thats a kind of safety board, or NTSB. Andy
@AWoh51EIbvdf2 жыл бұрын
4:59 - 5:05 Back part moving, looks dangerous.
@Praendy2 жыл бұрын
Hi, its not dangerous. The inner cone settles down, after the heat from the startup is gone. There are 3 stainless screws they centers the cone. During startup, the getting a bit longer of the heat. When the engine is in idle, the temperature drops and the screws taking their normal shape. Andy
