Beautiful... spade sole, retro heel... utterly mind blowing craftsmanship. I have started to make shoes for myself and this is what I look to as the gold standard, the pinnacle of what I am trying to do. Simply beautiful....

how do you get the last out of the shoe again? I bought wooden lasts (old showmakers) and tried to put them IN, they just wont go in:) what am I doing wrong? I bought themt to resole an old pair of shoes I experiment on. The sole is already removed. I tried to slip the remaining carcasse over the last, but this doesnt work :??

WHY, WHY, WHY Japanese shoes as beautiful as they make them, the heal always is too high? it throws all the balance down the drain, if they made they in a normal height I would order some bespoke shoes but every shoe maker I've seen makes them the same, I guess it's a style there but if they want to make it for the world and particular the west, they will have to start using some European shoe lasts. My own opinion of course. Great looking shoe non the less.
