I’m so in awe of your work! This is a masterpiece! I’m a silversmith - still a bit of a novice - and have decided to fabricate a cross pendant. Started searching for KZfaq videos of different techniques and yours is the best by far! Thanks so much for sharing!

What is that machine you are using to stick the pieces together before you solder.

Sorry for the late reply! It's called a sparkle welder, just a mini spot welder really. It tacks the pieces together so they stay still while soldering. :)

IMHO the music was terrible and it seems like you're using too much solder, but it was still a very nice video 👍 Are you happy with your spot welder? I was looking into buying one but there are a ton of bad reviews. Any help would be much appreciated!

Haha, unfortunately the free music library is very limited, I actually don't care much for the music myself! And I definitely use too much solder, it's something I've always been bad and judging, I am working on that though, haha. And I definitely recommend the mini welder. That video was my first time using it. I wouldn't use it for permanent joins, but it's good for holding bits together while you solder :)

How long did it take to make this cross?

About 2 days I think. There was a lot of video editing done along side it as well that I did between silversmithing sessions, which contributed to the total time. If I just made the cross, probably a day.

Te falta refinar el trabajo. Esa cruz debería ir pulida en todos lados y así como la soldaste qda con muy mal terminado usas mucha soldadura y para tener ese aparato d soldadura no debería d ser así
