My best timelapse so far: Kaiser Wilhelm II, Napoleon VI, Edward VIII, Otto von Habsburg und Victor Emmanuele III return to their thrones in this video. Who can survive in WW2? Who will they be allies with? Will the Central Powers be reestablished after WW1?

Elsass-Lothringen was an expensive mistake that cost the Germans far more in diplomatic backlash than it ever benefited them as an annexation. Britain is the greater threat to Germany anyway, it's more profitable for German interests to see Britain beaten than it is to pursue border claims with France.

A powerful shared enemy often tends to bring together nations who normally haven't seen eye to eye. Germany and France in this war found unity in opposing Britain, just like how Britain and France in the last war found unity in opposing Germany.
