Made my eyes swell with tears and pride. I was there at EDSA everyday doing my duty to our country and am very proud of it...facing guns with flowers and offerings.

@@JimParedesAPO I really want to talk to you today. My last great granduncle,lolo/tito fred pedro javier has passed away on the 6th of November 2021 at the age of 95 years old. Heaven gained another angel Sir Jim Paredes napakahirap magpaalam sa bandang huling Sir Jim Paredes. May God comfort my family Javier during this difficult time. Ako po ay wala nang great grandparents,great grandaunts,and great granduncles through my grandfather,lolo jimmy javier's side and to my grandmother,mamu rose gloria's side,my late great grandparents,lolo ariston and lola ceiling gloria+are gone already halos po ubos na po silang lahat Sir Jim Paredes wala na pong natira as in. Napakasakit,napakahirap sa pamilya javier po as in Sir Jim paredes. Iyak ako ng iyak as in.

Naiyak ako while watching this. This has been one of my favorite makabayan songs. Grade 1 ako nung mangyari ang Edsa People Power Revolution. Mula nung marinig ko itong kanta na ito noon, di ko na ito nakalimutan. Nagbibigay sya sa akin ng dangal at dignidad bilang Pilipino. Salamat po Sir Jim Paredes for this obra maestra. Lyrics at tono, tagos sa puso.

I have watched this twice and I am still in tears every time I listened to it. I was in EDSA during the People's Revolution and every time I am reminded of it, I still experienced goosebumps.

For the past 5 years or so we have become like barbaric nation. Killings everywhere, corruption all out and the birth of new cronies. The problem is that if Leni wins the congress might impeach her or the budget will deliberation for her projects will not be passed. Just like the president of Norway who lasted only seven hours. I hope her winning as president will be backed by the entire nation indeed.

i was thinking about this song when this election is getting closer and i told my family in the philippines to share again this song with the original video to remind the filipino people what happened during edsa revolution and was happy that there are different versions of this to show their support to ms. leni and mr. kiko. i was on channel 4 protecting the network where jim paredes, bubuy garavillo and danny javier with june keithley and other supporters of cory aquino were inside telling people to get out of their houses and support the revolution! mabuhay!
