I went with the XPAC city sling 2 after this and other reviews! fits my x100v with a large hood, SD cards, 10000mah powerbank, adaptors, snacks, airpods, bellroy travel wallet, medicine, headlamp... with room to spare. i add a caribiner to carry a drink bottle and a stuff sack with my rain jacket. with a full bottle its definitely heavy at around 2kg but the strap is thick and spreads the load well across your shoulder. add on a shoulder strap pad and this is the ultimate travel carry and EDC when youre back home.

This is the final EDC. I went with XPAC for the orange liner which is excellent and water proofing since you will most likely have electronics inside. Great review, thanks!

What a fantastic review! I just got my Aer City Sling 2 in X-pac and honestly, it’s definitely gonna be my end game edc sling bag.

can u fit a regular water bottle (600ml) in it ?

@@fredyarianto1859 you can but it would take so much space. The sling is only 2.5 liters and if you try to fill it up to its maximum capacity, it can get boxier when wearing it. That’s why I bought a memobottle A7 since it is only 180 ml in a flat (like a notebook) design. This sling will really limit or you have to trim down your usual everyday carry. If you really want to carry your 600 ml bottle then you would be better with Day sling 3. Just my suggestion.

@@fredyarianto1859 no problem! I honestly prefer the day sling 3, I was just impatient and I don’t know when will Aer release it that’s why I settled with city sling 2. If only I could turn back time and just waited Hahaha. But still, I’m happy with my city sling as it helped me streamline or refine my carry. Also, for me it looks more attractive compared to the Day sling 3 so yeah, I’m still pleased with it.

@@shersurewin day sling 3 looked to roundy to me but i guess it’s acceptable 😅. but still need to consider the fidlock buckle since it could accidentaly unbuckled

Just picked one up. The fastener is nice but it is a tad bulky and has sharp corners. I also have t found a good spot for a caribeaner, otherwise I really like it.

Love this bag except for one thing. Pay close attention at 5:02. One shot is nice but I'm surprised its in the video.

Agreed. Given the nature of the emphatic praise in this video, that guy was really frustrated with that zipper.

It is both the dimensions (wider than CS1) and AquaGuard zipper to blame. Cordura version without AquaGuard would be smoother, and CS1 xpac doesn't have this issue.

Would you recommend this over the heimplanet transit line pocket? I’m looking for a small sling and don’t know which one to get. The ones I’m looking at is the city sling 2, transit line pocket, or the bellroy sling mini. Do you have any other recommendations?

The Heimplanet Transit Sling feels much more like a large wallet with straps - very minimalist, compact, and wears just as well across the chest as it does across the back thanks to its smaller, geometric shape. The Aer City Sling 2 is a bit larger, but still maintains a minimalist design aesthetic. The keychain lanyard attachment and Fidlock magnetic buckle are both convenient features that are must haves for living in an urban environment. Both bags are excellent choices, and you can't go wrong with either. It just comes down to your particular daily use. I have the Heimplanet Transit Sling (smaller of the two) for more than 2 years and could not be happier. It is a simple yet elegantant and compact sling with enough organization (not too much pockets which is good for me). I really like to use it (it fits my phone, glasses, wallet, keys, knife and other small items when necessary). I am contemplating on buying the larger size for travel. 10/10
