I know my review on the Tudor Black Bay Pro wasn't very popular. There were a lot of comments about me being too harsh about it. Well....what can I say, they are just my honest opinion. If you've missed that review, the link is in the description below. Thankfully Tudor redeemed themselves with the release of their latest Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT. I still stand by my views on the Black Bay Pro, and in this video I'll tell you why.

The Pro’s GMT hand is so much easier to read quickly because it is coloured yellow

im probably the rare few who don't like the new BB58 GMT. The pro looks much nicer n classic looking still. Will you be reviewing the tudor submariner? :D

I’m surprised it does not look a lot thinner than the pro, that said the pro didn’t look as thick as it usually does in your video. I think the 58 gmt is a step in the right direction size wise but I would have preferred something with less gilt. I will be interested in what comes later but at the moment I think the pro is a lot better looking.

The additional thickness on the BB Pro is on the bulging case back. That is why the case doesn't look that thick. I agree with about the too much gilt. That's exactly what I told Tudor 😅 I would prefer it in steel or silver instead.

Great Video, good comparison! I would also prefer the Rubberstrap. But for me the BB58 GMT Is still a little too thick.

I much prefer the look of the BB Pro and it doesn’t look much thicker from the images, so my choice would be the BB Pro although it would be great if they slim that down next year. Too much gilt on the BB58 GMT it could have been a real winner but they missed an open goal.

The additional thickness on the BB Pro is due to the bulging case back cover. But I do agree about the gilt on the 58 GMT. That's exactly what I said to Tudor 😅I would prefer if it's steel or silver instead.

Are the lug to lug longer on the 58 GMT? I tried the pro in the AD and its borderline of what i can wear. If its longer than it should be a good fit! :)

Yes the BB58GMT is slightly longer measuring at 47.8mm as compared to the pro which is 47mm.

58 GMT is much more refined. Pro is like a toy next to it. I can see why people like the Pro though - it could work better as a tool watch in a rough environment, while I can’t imagine the 58 GMT worn by a construction worker

Grey market is flooded with the pro. The new 58 coke is gonna have wait lists like the Pelagos 39.

When I was there at my AD the other day, I was told that the wait-list of 40 people with that outlet alone.

The sweet spot will be this movement in the Pelegos 39mm case..... Titanium, ceramic and hopefully just black and white. It's what we want so will take Tudor at least 10 years, and Longines will beat them to it.

In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on nkuwan
