Regarding gloves, they’re primarily needed to protect corrosion-sensitive metals, photographs, and on a case-by-case; otherwise, many materials can withstand limited hand oil if hands are washed, dried, and free of lotion or sanitizer. In fact, the full dexterity of bare hands can sometimes be preferable, reducing risk of physical damage / dropping. [Also, when they are worn, white cotton has been largely phased out in favor of nitrile since fibers can catch on fragile surfaces.] So he was likely okay in simply touching most of this stuff with clean hands… But I do agree that the *manner* of handling in these videos has come across as a bit excessive and indeed stress-inducing at multiple points (especially the earlier one-handed X-wing carry). As much as I appreciate show-and-tells and respect Dave’s experience, I'd be grateful in the future for more consideration of viewers’ blood pressure - including fellow bidders.
