The BB Monochrome is legit the closest thing we have to a modern day Sub. I applaud Tudor for making that accessible in 2024 when everything has become more expensive than ever.

Love the modern-vintage feeling of the GMT. I think a jubilee bracelet would knock it even further out of the park for me and also a white dial version would look lovely.

I’m a big fan of the BB Monochrome. Makes for a great sub(stitute) for the Sub(mariner).

There is no substitute for the submariner. Its levels above the Tudor.

@@whereRbearsTeeth it’s the closest Tudors ever been to an actual real Tudor sub reference and it look almost identical to the submariner commissioned to the Canadian special forces which is where the whole black bay line gets its design from

I’ve bought and sold 2 Tudors over the past few years. There was always “something” that bugged me. Too thick, didn’t like the dial text etc. BUT I got the new monochrome 41 mm with the five link jubilee style bracelet. AND it’s perfect. Size, bracelet, no faux rivets , all black with no vintage style anything, great movement, long power reserve, and you can actually buy one. I can honestly say for the first time for me it’s perfect. They even kept the dial text to a basic minimal with no “splash of color”. Thank you Tudor. And for me it’s got to be accurate. Finally

Tudor continues to be killing it. The thickness has been my only complaint with my Black Bay GMT so to have that same concept in a 2 mm thinner case is phenomenal (here's hoping they don't do a pepsi version or I might be too tempted...)! And introducing master chronometer certification at these pricepoints is amazing value. Love to see it.

That monochromatic BB on the 5 link bracelet is amazing! 41mm, no date, just the right amount of text on the dial. I'm a sucker for symmetry. Has me highly reconsidering purchasing a no date SUB, especially considering the METAS certification on the Tudor.

The submariner and the Tudor are on two totally different levels. Compare them hand in hand and it becomes very obvious why one cost twice as much as the other.

The $32K solid gold BB58 is an interesting move. The bracelet looks really nice, but that's a lot of money for more of an enthusiast brand with a focus on tool watches. The gold-cased model at ~$15K was the only Tudor to sit and sit in the display case at my local AD throughout 2022. I do love the monochrome 41mm, and the slimmer GMT is a move in the right direction even with the slightly odd gilt Coke bezel.

The new BB58 GMT is a stunner! Last year I got myself a BB Pro and I would not swap for the thinner one, because I think that two colored bezels are too „common“, although the burgundy part is pretty appealing to me. The new monochrome BB would be a hitter if it came in a BB58 or BB54 case. Just my humble opinion 😅

New releases are great. I think the BB58 GMT is almost perfect... am I the only one who wishes the yellow text was white instead? It feels to warm in these pictures but maybe it looks much better in person.

I had the opportunity to try on the new Black Bays this Friday and the quality is crazy high. Just had an experience with a Roles Submariner 2 weeks ago and it really doesn’t seem higher category anymore. Also the BB’s price is world champion.

Great fan of the BB41 Monochrome. I just got the Burgundy version with jubilee - amazing watch. I would add the monochrome too if it was not for the fact that I have a Seadweller already ❤

Good to see that Tudor have a good customer ethos. I have the Pro. Thick yes but a cool vintage look that I like more than black red and gold. Maybe the next version will have less gilt accents.

Teddy is on point. The BB GMT (Pepsi bezel) from last year was 14.6mm case thick. Not a good buy too big. Now the BB58 GMT is at 12.8mm. Its close to the BB58 2022-23 at 11.9mm. Love the red on black. Best BB in a long time.

Any idea when the 58 GMT might start appearing at ADs and not be reserved for “frequent clients”? Trying to decide between the GS SBGE305 and the Tudor 58 GMT for a summer birthday. I have the sinking feeling the GS will be easier (they have a Boutique in Town with which I have a frequent purchase history…can’t say the same for Tudor).

It's fitting that Tudor released a solid gold diver because the new Black Bay offerings should be celebrated -- METAS-tested movements and refining the style language with more knurled crowns and round counterbalances on the seconds hand, even a jubilee bracelet, and t-fit, too. The Coke Classic and the Monochrome are two opposite ends of the spectrum but both show that Tudor understands how to use color. Speaking of color, love those new Crayola Tangente dials that Nomos released. Good stuff, Teddy!

@@jolob there’s about 6 troy ounces of pure gold in an 18K Rolex Sub, so gold value alone is ~$14,000. Huge premium to have it gold and not steel.

That end link on the Rose watch breaks the whole watch! Love the case and the dial and even the bracelet BUT that link that connects to the case!?? What is that?
