I think the ref showing no tolerance for the idiocy on time wasting etc is spot on but he was also very inconsistent as the gima lads should of had more cards before even eric got sent off. 3 and 9 for gima especially. No excuses for that though, gima lads should be ashamed of themselves in all honesty. very very poor standard of sportsmanship and brains

For a start you can’t double jeopardise. So you can give a red for the last man back and a penalty so if you give a pen then you can’t give a red. Secondly they both ran into each other it’s not a foul

Eric deserved both bookings in this match. It was naive play from him with the second when already being on a booking. However I agree with other comments the referee needed to be braver in carding players for some of those tackles.

No excuse for the send-off for Eric. Emotions were high, yes, but the 2 yellows were brainless and unnecessary. Gima's #3 should have been sent off (2 yellows) for the swipe and the late kick on Jr. Gima should have had a pen at the end of 2nd half there. What a chaotic game.
