I think at this point the devs treat Konpeki as a game within the game, seeing how hard players will work to get back in and to the roof

as of 2.1 the "get out the car clipping door method" does still work for anyone wondering. At least it did for me a few minutes ago. Used the pink Villefort(?) and the hotel door/screen popped right open first go. the rest is still the same.

Thanks for the video, I missed the iguana egg so needed to get back in. Can confirm that the car door trick still works in 2.02, I did it just now on pc.

I honestly spent an hour trying to get in based on your 2.0 video. Between the car trick, the garage trick, and getting the cops to come after me i was getting frustrated. I’ve never done it before so I felt I was doing something wrong even though I got the door to clip several times. But after watching this video I just laughed at how much simpler they made it by just blowing up the car.

I was able to open the front door using the previous car trick, in other words, it does still work. The car I used to do it was the classic "Hella EC-D". I am currently running version 2.02 or so i believe based on what my main menu says and my pause menu agrees saying it's 2.02. I don't know if this is a situation in which screen shots would help but I did take a couple just in case they would because I was quite surprised to have actually opened the door within 5 minutes of trying. Great video though man, I appreciate you walking us through how to do it again!

Old way still seems to work. Tried it with the Vigilante you get from pre-ordering phantom liberty. Took me a handful of tries but it worked eventually

The door clipping and car exploding did not get me inside the building. For 2.11 what did work was wedging myself between the building door and the car and just started jumping like crazy with double jump and all the sudden the doors opened. All loot i was missing was still there and i was able to get back outside of the building. Thanks for the video!

I managed to get in there to grab the katana and egg, and for some reason, tge way I get in the buliding is clipping through the door(I was trying to get the right angle to shoot the shotgun) and squish myself in. Anyway if not for this video I wouldn't though of getting that katana

I was able to get in with the door trick last week & since i didn't loot him back in 1.6, i got all 4 rare items on the trip

Neither this method nor None of the previous methods helped me to get to Kampeki Plaza. but I found another way thanks to them. You have to stand right in front of the gate and make the car knock you down at full speed. Then you will find yourself on the hood, the car will drive halfway into the door, and the entrance will be open.

I did open the door using the old method on accident using the Hella EC-D. So it looks like the old method at the moment is still possible.

The car door actually opened the shutters for me as of five minutes ago. I used the charon you get after doing the Phantom Liberty story and hack the rental company.

I just got in by placing the car (HELLA EC-D I360) RIGHT next to the door to the point where you're sliding on the edge of the car and then I crouched and the door opened

All these patches and Saburo still left rotting in that room.

Aww I just went back right now and the door opened when I could open the driver door ❤ don't need to be to close to the entrance not to far either just to be able to open your driver door 😇and abracadabra the entrance opened 😋

Found a similar way to open it easy without blowing up the car, put the same cars driver side real close against the chain door then get on top crouch down til ur between the door and chain gate then use something that packs a lot of punch on the car, I used the o five and gets me in easy

I went IN Konpeki with the same way as you on 2.0 but instead of glitching through the barrier, the barrier opened when i went through and it remained open on my way out.

It still works with getting out of the car to open the door. The moment i wanted to try your one shot entry i tried getting out of the car 30 minutes. When i desided to just use guts i got out of the car and it open

Thanks, the heads up was very helpful 👍, You can save yourself the time trying to break back into the tower, and do everything you did before you go down the elevator in the heist. You just need do some gigs and get the leg implants before the heist. I did all the gigs, psychos and NCPD Jobs in Watson before I started the heist, got to level 22 n street cred of 50, most of my chrome was tier 3 and some tier 4. Makes walking the rest of the streets much easier IMO. 🤘

I was actually able to do it jus by opening the car door (aka the previous method). I used the Hella EC-D I360 (the starting car given to you) and jus did the old method and it opened.

If you looted the dog tags and still have it when you get into Dogtown you can buy nehan dagger from the black market

Old method still works. I used the default car u get from jackie. Took a few attempts but finally got thru.

LOL I tried the car method (the gold car, Vato, that you get during the boxing match mission) and it worked on my first try! I was able to still get the items, despite the save being pre-2.0, proving your save does NOT need to be 2.0 to get the items. The only thing I was NOT able to get was Nehan since that was introduced in 2.0 as far as I'm aware. Which is weird because I was able to get everything else. Regardless, after that, the doors opened and closed and let me in and out as I pleased after glitching into the building. Too bad I can't get Nehan with this method. I will just go to Dogtown and buy it! Thanks for the video! PS. I found a funny glitch inside the elevator. I was using Satori and playing around with it and by holding right click then left click, I did the special attack and it glitched me ontop of the elevator as it was moving down. I died after I did it again from fall damage.

The car door exploit works, but I had to use a second car to block the passenger side from opening.

It's much easier with super jump/reinforced joints.

I just did it with the Quadra type 66 hoon, I put it on an angle with the front against the glass next to the shutter and it worked.

So I tried your method to get in today (05/01/24) : your method did not work, same for the old one. Although I managed to get in by sticking the car in the front and jumping around to try and get between the car and the wall. Eventually my character just fell into the building and the door opened. Although I have an issue : I don't have saburo's knife and I don't have it in my stash/inventory. I went to the new vendor and he does not allow me to buy it. I have no idea why and how to fix it since I cannot loot it or buy it. Does anyone know anything about this ? PS : on this save I did not forget it since I made the Heist pre-2.0.
