"Murders happen every day in Uttar Pradesh, will Prime Minister call up everyone?" asked Union Minister of State for Agriculture and a lawmaker from Muzaffarnagar, Sanjeev Balyan, on PM's silence on the Dadri killing. He added that "the incident is unfortunate, but if you ask for Prime Minister's reaction on every incident, he will be giving reactions 24 hours a day." Author Tavleen Singh, who calls herself a "supporter of PM Modi", said that in this case, Prime Minister "needs to not just speak but speak loudly and clearly to his partymen about what his views are on this subject".

Justice Katju speaks very harsh and most of the times , over states in anger but he's the most genuinely straight forward person this country will ever have. No wonder it's always been a bumpy ride for him

Anyone watching this must realise that the guy is damn smart and he just said that to provoke these clowns and to make them show their true colours. He is a SC justice and knows laws, ethics and decorum probably more than anyone, he just channelised the thoughts of the frustrated layman.

Ek baat kehna chahta hoon, Hamare MPs, MLAs jo bhi hain wo log hum mein se hi hain. Iska matlab ye bhi hai, jaise log hum hain waise hi MLA, MPs hongein. Unko kahin se import nahi kiya ja sakta. If you want the MLAs, MPs of this country to be sensible, intelligent, trustworthy, then first we need introspection honestly. We need to see if we would be in their place, whether we will work the country or first we will think about ourselves. Character of citizen of a country reflects and represents the character of a Nation. Before we expect high standards from MLAs, MP, first an individual of this country should set high standards of character first.

I share the sentiments of katju sir with some exceptions but most of the politicians are power hungry who increase the divide in nation on basis of caste and religion. I guess they don't care about nation but only to their personal gains. We should seriously try to introduce educated, serious politicians and good human beings in our political system.
