The Original is in "G" Major. This is in "E" Major which is 1.5 steps LOWER. The woman should be singing the higher part in G Major and the man should be singing the counter melody right under it. Sounds nothing remotely close to the original, but I'm glad you like the song & attempted to do it justice.

You are correct. G Major is a bit high for my range and I wanted to sing the melody. This happens to be the most viewed video that we have done so far. There are about three different videos of this song that we have published on our channel. It is a great song by Rick and we will never get close to the original. We are just having lots of fun seeing how much we can improve.

@@OMGBand2020 That's fair enough. Don't mind me, I listen to that song all the time & I can sing both parts in G Major. It is in a tenor key. You do have a nice voice & you sound like a baritone.
