I was having so much trouble with him I went and got my hands on Ultimate Ajax, and maxed him out. I upgraded the shield, health, and defense modules, as well as the Battle of Stamina, Spear and Shield, and Weighing the Scales modules. I went in there with randos, grabbed that freaking cube off his alter, and ran with that damn thing while the squad broke his mouth. I ate several of those laser beams like it was cookie cake, and we put him down like a rabid dog. I _despise_ this piece of garbage, and will probably dedicate some time to helping people beat him.

Amd that was only Normal Mode 😅, Try the Obstructer, Frost walker and Molten Fotress on Hard mode. Its legit near impossible to do with randoms cos you actually need specific descendants

I can relate to that... If i go to get the box, they don't shoot the mouth canister so we get wiped out. I stay back, we get wiped out because no one goes for the box... smh It's like they are having issues and decide not to look into it to get an idea of what to do. So frustrating to go at it with randoms who have no clue of what they're supposed to do

*me running with the cube while a random Viessa was chasing me shooting at me and casting abilities on me while the other 2 were shooting the mouth. She died a couple times to the bolts chasing me and very obviously did not know what to do despite me saying what to do at the start...... twice. I queued into the same person before this as well and at one point, when I got downed with the cube, she didn't revive me, took the cube..... and put it back while tubes were full. Needless to say, we wiped right as I revived and she left immediately while I broke down the mechanic for the remaining 2.

completed this boss today but didn't know about any cube or draining lol... took me some tries just to realise that his AOE attack in the immune phase is very much survivable, but still couldn't figure out what killed us one by one afterwards with an orange circle. until I saw your video. I guess someone else on the next team was carrying that cube lol

I've cleared this a number of times and I am always the runner as Ajax. I never knew you could grapple with the cube. I just do a little tippy tappy on my keys to throw off the lightning bolts a bit.

The most annoying part is that, you MUST be holding the cube when you break its mouth for the liquid to drain. I did the boss multiple times and kept getting hit and dropping the cube right before the mouth tubes broke.

holding the cube makes him invincible, your only supposed to hold the cube when you want to drain the red fluid in the tubes, you want to drain the red fluid in the tubes to stop him from doing his wipe attack so in short you only pick up the cube when the tubes are almost full and hes going to do the wipe attack to drain the red fluid your team has to shoot the tube in his mouth while someone has the cube

Does the game even tell u about the box and insta death mechanic? It should probably be in the main screen when u choosing the intercept battle. Also show the frenzied state part that takes the immune state away.

Holy hell, I can't do this anymore...I've done at least 30+ runs and not a single one was successful. I think I definitely lost us a couple on my early attempts, but I'm at the point where I am taking it and running for a good 3-4 minutes on a character that's not bunny and literally nothing. Every time I look back it's half my team incapacitated and the vials are still full. Why does someone have to hold it?

I'll fix that last statement for you - its mostly easy if AT LEAST 3 people understand the box mechanic and can hit the damn tube in the mouth. Solo players either have to be the box runner and hope..., be a mouth shooter and hope..., or try and organise a team. (3 is assuming a first clear team, you're likely going to need at least 2 people dps'ing the mouth canister in such a case). The main reason its a struggle is having to rely on other people; its the first boss that needs that much team work. (not a bad thing, but hurts those many many basically solo players) To be fair though; the hard mode bosses are in much the same boat unless you have a very OP build.

@@sober667 Yeah, no shit, but how many first clear teams bring that (SEE "assuming a first clear team"). Also I assume you mean plenty or less likely maybe plethora of builds. For the record I don't need the help I cleared it ages ago, and don't have a problem with it. Play with the builds most pugs are going in with then see how many runs it takes.... its a mess, its getting better though as more people are just jumping in pub long past their first run to just unlock some Amorphous Patterns; where as most players first getting to hang man don't have a sniper built with enough damage to 4 tap it let alone one tap it. Could they, sure. --- There are people that are one-three shotting hard mode bosses too; but thats not the normal posistion most people are in.

@@A17Pangalloit’s a gley build with her build that allows for infinite rounds but you are on very low health as the ability does more damage the more low health you are but the ability itself takes health away. A risky but high reward build.

You should do Pyromaniac too. He's another rough boss if you don't have Viessa in the team. I main Enzo and so many people just run away when I'm trying to give them ammo before the boss spawns.

@LeyzarGamingViews It might be a good time to get an Enzo guide going. There's a few guides out there now but they're not that great as I suspect most CC's haven't actually dived into Enzo's kit to figure out how he works. He's not the tankiest,but he can constantly make heavy and special ammo with his ult. He also makes doing Vaults so much easier. Also. Any other players reading this. Quit running from me I'm trying to give you ammo! The lunchbox gives a couple shots and my shoulder drone just makes it for you.

Box needs to be carried for Orb break to reduce the Vials afaik. If you pop the mouth Orb while nobody is carrying it, the Vials do not get drained. Min/Max would be only carrying the cube only when he's doing laser, but if your team has really good DPS and fancy feet, better to just carry it all the way for consistency.

So this is something I really dislike, like this really grinds my gears. We have fought 7 colossi all with similar sets of rules. Devourer being an exception as his enraged mechanic is there until you killed the bubbles. With this one, there is no clear answer given as to what you need to do, a wipe mechanic was just plopped on our laps when there has never been a wipe mechanic in the entire rest of the game other than a timer or squad death. I don't understand why they implemented this into this boss fight especially when most people have just waited out the enraged phase.

When you break the tube in his mouth it decreases the liquid in the tubes by 50%, you can put it back in then or try to run a second round and completely empty the tubes before putting the box back.

This boss is hard lesson to not ignore defense and hp module... Once I ranked up my Bunny to tank up to 5 times of its laser shotgun, got group up with randoms that can go full DPS to basically ignore the boss mechanics. LOL😂😂😂

I hate this shii so bad.. Get 2 bunnies not 1 want to get the item. I get the item and my whole team is on the ground and no way to deal damage to the Hanged man.... Also, hate trying to shoot the mouth on controller.
