Cuttin' dovetails! This was my first time cutting mitered edge dovetails and they came out pretty good! You'll notice I only cut a mitered edge on the backside and not the front. This is so that I can more easily cut the rabbet along the back to fit the shiplap back and not have to worry about covering up or hiding the rabbet on the top and bottom pieces. It was nice to get a first look at the full size of the shelf. Looks a lot bigger than I was expecting. It's been fun working on something of this size though. This is by far the biggest project, size wise, I've work on.
