The instrument played is called a Hang. It is a hand crafted instrument made in Switzerland since the year 2000. The music is by the Hang Massive duo, Danny Cudd and Markus Offbeat.

The music of Hang Massive is sourced in the teachings of Short Moments, a global grass-roots organisation for human empowerment and social change. Both Danny and Markus have been students of Short Moments and the founder, Ziji Rinpoche for many years. Ziji Rinpoche is a formal lineage holder of the Nyingma Dzogchen lineage. Matthew Whitehouse Cajon Just because an artist is doing a crowdfunding campaign doesn't mean they aren't paying for it mate ;-) Crowdfunding is an effective way to promote and pre-sell an album, as well as let fans become part of its creation process. They aren't asking for something for nothing... everyone gets something in exchange for their pledge.

Matthew Whitehouse Cajon Going into a proper studio makes for a much better final product than a home studio. For us musicians who are out there doing gigs, concerts, traveling, investing into our music, etc.... the money that would go to financing a proper studio could be put to much better use elsewhere. That being said... I am investing in my own home studio equipment, but that's no substitute for the studio I record at, the engineer/producer I work with, etc. A proper studio can very easily have over $100,000 in equipment alone. Sorry... but I'll spend that money on more handpans (Hang)!

Matthew Whitehouse Cajon My immediate thought was - when have artists ever been able to afford paying for their own recordings? Crowd Funding allows artists who may not have been able to previously afford studio time to do so. For those that may have been able to afford it anyway, it still allows a level of interaction with their fans that it above and beyond attending concerts. It allows the artist to hear directly from their fans. Have you seen all the cool stuff you get for participating in the crowd funding? Lots of really cool stuff. :)

Absolut richtig. Geht mir genauso. Jahrelang immer wieder aufgerufen. Sehr besonders und essentielles musikalisches Kunstwerk, welches über unser Gehör und Nervensystem direkt in die Seele Eingang findet. Alle einfachen Menschen dürften so empfinden, da wir mehr oder weniger alle grundsätzlich friedfertig unser Leben mit den anderen teilen wollen, um selbst mit der Familie ein auskömmlich gutes Leben zu haben. Nur die Obrigkeiten der Einfachen haben da meist andere Ansichten, und hetzen die Leute gegeneinander ohne echte Not auf. Boshafte Psychopathen dürften an dieser Empfindung zu solch schöner Kunst keinen Zugang haben. Sie sind mit sich selbst und ihrem Gier- und Machttrieb zu sehr beschäftigt. Sehr schön hier so viele positive Nachrichten in anderer Sprache zu sehen.👋🏻

7 years later, and I'm still stunned by the constructure of this track. I can use it as a background music in the cafe. I can use it when I'm hyped and getting ready to go out. I’ve been a drummer for many years, but this is the song that inspired me to play the handpan a few years back (genuine hangs are far out of my price range). I finally bit the bullet and just bought my first pan in D Kurd a few weeks ago, I’ve been playing this song since. Unfortunately, it’s not a 10 note pan like the ones here, so there’s a section later in the song that I don’t have the note for, but I’ll improvise! Cheers!

Exactly one week ago, I gave birth to this song. I felt it was the most beautiful and peaceful thing I had ever heard. I wanted my child to come into this world with music like this in the background. Now when I hear it I’m flooded with the most beautiful emotions. It helped me stay calm when I was dying in agony during a 63 hour labor. We’ve suffered pregnancy loss 7 times before my miracle baby and spent 7 years of infertility trying to conceive her. This song held so much emotion during my pregnancy. It reminded me of all the hardships I’ve been through over the years but also of all the beautiful things to come and look forward to. Can’t thank you enough for this song. I will remember it my whole life and it’ll always hold the feeling of those special moments for me when after 7 years and 7 losses, my miracle baby girl was born and placed in my arms alive and healthy.

There is no way to describe the feeling you get listening to this but ill try my best, Its like you are on a journey through a great desert or on a sea that pushes you against the tidal waves. Its such a beautiful composition of different resonating frequencies that work so well together and intertwine to make such strong emotions

Dear I am wondering if you should extra take care while you handling or transporting your instruments and they have expected playing life because they look so fragile that they can easily get damage. and so they will be out of tune.

i'm obsessed with this instrument. it looks so simple but creates such beautiful sounds! nothing else like it. so relaxing and my favorite.
