강을 중심으로 벌어지는 치열한 생태계의 생존과 번식을 다룬 자연다큐멘터리 강에는 다양한 얼굴이 있다. 강은 계절에 따라 지형에 따라 적응해나가면서 다양한 모습으로 나타나기 때문에 강과 땅의 경계를 명확히 구분 짓는다는 것은 불가능하다. 3부에서는 느리게 걷는 강, 습지와 육지와 강을 오가는 생명들을 중심으로 그 속에서 벌어지는 생명체들의 역동적인 삶의 모습을 그려낸다. 강과 땅을 사이에 두고 각종 파충류, 양서류, 조류, 포유류 등 높은 종다양성 만큼이나 다양한 삶의 모습이 펼쳐지는 생태계의 그물을 펼쳐본다.
