Silver Cliff Colorado, the Silver Dome Saloon. It's actually a dome and also a saloon. The acoustics are fantastic. Come play for me and the folks in my little mountain town. The view is worth it alone, beautiful mountain range ~Sangre de Cristos

What happened to Hank 3
@ernieflanaganstingraybassm14637 жыл бұрын
Hank 3 my daddy sang your grandpas song's to a T. Daddy was from Booneville, ms and he left home at 13 to sing country songs on a carnival circuit and they paid him good money to do Hank songs his name is Cotton Flanagan, daddy played your grandpa's song's and the ones he wrote and recorded daddy kept the country and family tradition alive and we would be invited back stage when all the country legends played and my daddys band would open up and back up the national artist's every saturday night when they would come to Chicago and my daddy appeared weekly on a show broadcast across the Nation called THE BARNDANCE and daddy's song called The Rockdale Boogie sold close to 500,000 copys in 1952 and my daddy knew every Hank Williams song like it was in his soul, daddy got me and my sister Debbie Lee on stage and singing when i was 6 and my sister was 11 and my Daddy resembled your grand pa and it was scary. i truly believed in country music from the time i was 6 and i started played drums in my daddys band when i was 11 back in 1972. we had house gigs fri,sat and sunday jam sessions at every place we played so than when i was 14 i learned how to play bass cause where i came from in joliet il it was hard to find a singing bass player and i have been playing bass ever since im now 56 years old and i wanna thank your grand pa and your daddy and your self for keeping the country music that i grew up on alive. i lived in Nashville for 8 years and i was involved in a very bad car accident last dec 16 and im now finally being able to take a couple of steps but im still in a 24/7 care unit in joliet il called symphony nursing and rehab cause i cant walk and today is Jul 9th and i believe music has kept me going cause i should of died in that accident cause i had head trauma my right leg was broken in 5 places from my knee to my hip and i have titanium plate in my leg and 24 screws holding my leg together my bone in my leg looked like broken tree branches cause my leg was crushed and i lost 4 pints of blood and i broke my pelvic bone in half and i had two fractured hips broken nose and a chipped tooth lol and i have rods and screws in my back from a 3 level fusion with an artificial disc replaced in my back and i had to have a blood transfusion in the hospital and i was in a Coma for 62 hours well thats my story in the last year and i had a heart attack in september before the accident and i have a stint in my heart....god bless you hank 3rd for keeping country alive and i would love maybe a call or text from you in the near future i met your bassman at roberts in nashville a couple of times he's awesome Thank you so much for everything you do Ernie 615-974-0073... and hopefully i will be back doing shows again by the fall...god bless you...

Boy you got this old man hooked. Grew up listening to your daddy, Merle, Waylon and George and I love ol DAC. I had a retired deputy friend from Tuscaloosa Co that would make me stop so he could get outta the truck if I put David A on. He was neatly killed working one of his concerts and woke up naked beaten and in a gravel pit up in Holt. You come to T Town and you'll get a warm welcome front us hillbillies up around Samantha and Berry and Fayette and Pickensville. If you can't read this it's because I'm stoned outta my mind and drinking some home brew blueberry wine that'll take the paint off s jet airplane.

There’s a few minutes of some “hipsters” swing dancing around the 5:00 minute mark. I’ve been listening to Hank 3 lately, grandson of Infamous country legend, Hank Williams. I’m pretty ignorant of “country” music but this fellow is pretty good!

i love his country hate that devil metal music
@Patrick_Roach7 жыл бұрын
Most of his country music has more to do with satan than his metal and punk stuff. A few of his songs are also metal and country. Can't play just one because the song is both.
