This is a scene of trains arriving and departing one after another at Karasuma Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line during weekday evening rush hours in Japan (around 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm). Semi-express, semi-express, and local (stopping at each station) Hankyu train cars are shown.
The Expo wrapping train, the Chikawa wrapped train ``Usagi'', and the 9300 series 20th anniversary vehicle were also running.
Most local trains go to Osaka Umeda, but during this time I also saw some going to Tengachaya.
It is an underground station with one island platform and two lines, with Line 1 heading towards Kawaramachi, Kyoto, and Line 2 heading towards Umeda, Osaka. This photo was taken on the Osaka side of the platform and the Kyoto Kawaramachi side.
At the photo location on the Osaka side of the platform, the platform continues a little farther so that a 10-car train can be parked, but since the 10-car train has been discontinued, the two cars on the Osaka-Umeda side are closed off with a fence. I did. However, the lights remain on.
