Thanks for demoing the tests. It was very helpful to know that I do not need to buy this. Calcium test is a joke, using 0.1ml of tank water. lol. a tiny speck of more or less water drop will cause a huge swing. Agree with other posters. They want to charge $400 and come up with the same crappy calcium test method and other tests we don't need to test often like nitrite and ph and low range nitrate. Thanks again for trying it out for fellow reefers.

Page 20 of the manual bottom of the page. This will share why it is dripping. There is a HDPE plastic stopper that wasn't sure part of the shipping materials, but something you are supposed to take on and off every time you use it. I really wish there was a rubber gasket that stayed in the cap all the time. This creates extra work and time.

Very nice unit right now I have three of the henna eggs alkalinity pH and for my quarantine tank a copper test you were saying the checkers are not very accurate with calcium my opinion is if you're going to spend this kind of money Hannah needs to get this right with the calcium test kit what's the point if it's not accurate other than that it's a nice unit

Your nitrait test was 35.6 and you were surprised, I think the point is in the wrong place, I test my tank with hanna and it reads 40.00ppm where has the egg reads 4ppm its quite confusing atm I've spoken to hanna who tested my unit and they say its working fine. Am I missing something here

I think you used the 0.1ml dropper wrong, from looking at the amount of tank water that was in the plastic tip it should not be past the third notch from the top, your sample was past, the sirynge is designed with two plunge settings, down till you feel resistance and all the way down to despence. My readings are spot on.

I love my Hanna eggs and would not replace them with this brick. You're stuck doing one test at a time, but with my eggs, I can start another test during the countdown. Plus, most people only need a few of the eggs to cover what most reefers test for. No need to spend $400 when $100 - $150 will do.
