I want to thank all of these jurors for giving Tylee, JJ & Tammy justice. THIS is how our judicial system is supposed to work. They all did a phenomenal job, regardless of how difficult it must have been. I hope those horrific images eventually fade away. Thank you & God bless you all!! 💕💕💕

They did an important job that needed doing. I sure wouldn't want all that horrible testimony and evidence stuck in my brain. It would be so painful. I feel very sorry for the 12 on that jury. They did their very best under awful circumstances. I hope they can all get therapy when they want it.

Sweet Hannah. This experience was difficult for you but I want you to know that you have saved countless victims and families. Chad and Lori would not have stopped. They were picking up momentum and becoming emboldened. You were a part of the little army that society sent to stop them...and protect us. Think about that when you're feeling blue and know that we are proud and grateful for everything that you've done. Thank you, -Dr. Mayers

Idk if they did though. The guilty verdict, yes. But death.. I’m so scared Chad will think of himself as a martyr. “Jesus was prosecuted and executed”. Yeah.. he’ll use that to comfort himself. He’ll use that to convince himself and his children/followers that he IS like Jesus.
@Hadacattoo2
@Hadacattoo2 Ай бұрын
@@BMarie774 I get that, but he will have limited access to the outside world now with being on death row. Hopefully less communication with Emma (who could be the bigger danger now potentially. Anyway, he will have A LOT of alone time, which for someone like him who needs admiration, he won't be getting. He won't have the ability to pontificate anymore. At first I was just wanting him to suffer with life in prison and being in a general prison population and maybe some "prison Justice" but DP could be more of a punishment mentally for him. The jurors followed the legal rules by answering the questions and arrived at DP.

It's almost as if the jurors were daily hostages. Saw and heard horrific things but then had to step out into the afternoon or evening each day as if normal, but nothing could be normal. They couldn't talk daily about these things. Then Boom, case is over, as if they were freed by some form of negotiation. Now they have to assimilate back. I am humbled by there perseverance, patience, stamina, commitment, attention, and integrity. Well done, jurors of one the toughest cases to come before a US court. Bless you all.

Nate, I really feel you need to not ask the question on when they made up their minds because they had been handed jury instructions that required them to not form any conclusion until they deliberate. Any emotional responses that they give you now could misstate their mindset on the day they deliberated and that could potentially create basis for an appeal (if the defense lawyers watch these jury interviews). But I’m so proud and thankful for these jurors!
@kpanyc
@kpanyc Ай бұрын
Notice how every single juror has also explained how they waited and hoped for something from the defense that would make them see the case differently? And that when they deliberated, they tested each element, making sure the evidence was there and asking the group if there was any possible doubt? They did a great job. It's airtight.

Yeah....I think the psychologists I've heard on this subject all agree that Chad's family was extremely "enmeshed." So Emma is like a stepford child; she mimics the demeanor and beliefs of her father. IMO each subsequent generation in an enmeshed family presents with increasingly bizarre and robotic behavior in the midst of what would normally be highly personal and emotional reaction. Emma is not her own self, it seems. I hope she can find herself but that road will be very difficult.

@tracyafig I wouldn't call that debriefing at all. They had to witness horrible things and then had to make hard decisions. I think perhaps you may not understand how it is mentally to condemn someone, no matter how vile to death. They will have to live with the fact that they were essentially one of the "trigger fingers" of his death for the rest of their lives and that is something I absolutely do not take lightly.

Every time you ask a juror if they’d already made up their mind at some point I have to hold my breath! Don’t give any reasons for valid appeals people! Especially saying they wanted Chad to speak! They’re specifically told they can’t hold that against him and prior is already using it as a grounds for appeal! These jurors are so very special and I’d hate to see anything undue their hard work!!! 😢

my impression has been they meant they were longing for some kind of explanation or sign of humanity on a personal level, not that they held it against him in deliberating

My opinion is that Chad still lives in his crazy fantasy world, and is expecting a miracle or the end of the world to save him and prove him as a prophet. Maybe he is imitating Jesus, who did not answer his accusers. Something is totally inhuman about that man.

Just so ppl know……if you think Chad would ever get an appeal??!! = He’s the 1 who won’t!!

They can discuss what Chad did or didn't say in making their determination of guilt or innocence.

That is not a "valid appeal". The jury saying they wished Chad testified is not the same as saying his silence helped prove his guilt. Obviously, this jury relied on the evidence presented at trial to find him guilty. An appeal in this situation would have to show that Chad's testimony could have swayed jurors toward a different verdict. This jury wanted to hear from the defendant in the spirit of inquiry-- that's it. I think most jurors would. Juries are told the defense doesn't have to prove innocence; Chad getting up there to blame others or to try & convince someone he's innocent would have little, if any, affect. The state had to prove his guilt regardless & this jury decided the state did that.

And we'll done NATE for the was you handled this interview with compassion it was obvious how badly you felt for her, you are an outstanding reporter. I think she needs more time to process this before interviewing but she obv agreed to it and you handled that very well, poor woman it's so terrible what so many people have went through x

I’m so glad the jurors in this trial have come out. I think only 3 of the Lori Vallow trial. Maybe more will feel comfortable to come out since most of this jury did. Good job Hannah ❤

For those who don’t know.. Colby has a KZfaq channel with his wife. They’re expecting a baby. He’s happy. He’s doing okay. He’s loved. He’s strong. I know a lot of people really really worry about Colby. Despite everything, he’s created his own beauty in this life. He honors his siblings. And he plans to do some big memorials for them, and he wants to tell JJ and Tylee’s stories. Their LIFE, not their death.

For me the saddest death was Tylee for so many reasons…when Charles was killed she defended her mom because she loved her mom and as a 16 year old girl she wanted to protect her; when she was told she was leaving Arizona and she was so unhappy; and when she went to Yellowstone knowing she’d be murdered within 24 hours. At 16 she was more aware of what was going on compared to JJ, but still trusting of her own mother and uncle.
