As a fellow sweat-drenched New Yorker, I HIGHLY recommend getting a small shopping cart. It takes less energy to push or pull your groceries than to carry them. Some of them are even cute, not that anyone cares about being cute anymore. Pasta tip learned the hard way: unless you're a chef (or an old Italian Grandma) who can get everything done at the same time, do the sauce first and then cook the pasta. Sauce can sit around but pasta really can't.

seconding the granny cart. Changed my life. You can even get ones that are basically just big square sleek shopping bags that have little pop-out wheels so you can essentially set it down and just roll it along!

Tip for the pasta - once you’ve drained it, run it under cold water. That stops it from continuing to cook and drizzle with a bit of olive oil whilst still in the colander, that will stop it from sticking.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who eats with one foot propped up on the chair and my knee near my chin, haha! I'm 55 and have been doing this my entire life and don't anticipate stopping anytime soon. Thanks for being so thoughtful with the Charley content, LOVE HERRRRRRRRR. 😸❤

Hannah, fr get some roach traps, the little plastic disk kind that already have bait in them. You can hide them behind furniture, under your appliances, in cabinets, etc where Charley won't find them. You have to switch them out every 3 months I believe. They work! And there's nothing gross or disgusting to touch or handle. It's very easy. Target should have them. Loved the Statue of Liberty footage! She is so much more beautiful in person than people realize. One of my favorite NY experiences for sure. If you haven't already been to Liberty Island to see her up close, I HIGHLY recommend. I didn't even do the climb up inside of her, you couldn't pay me to do that, but just walking around Liberty Island and seeing her up so close was a truly magical experience. Your Alfredo looked so incredible, well done! 💕

Oh Hannah, I love your vlogs. You are so funny and witty. Great cooking episode, just a hint, after I drain the pasta (I also forget about saving the pasta water) I pour a little Olive oil over the noodles, this helps them from not sticking. I lovee your videos, they are literally my comfort KZfaq videos recently🤍 I have a tip for you for your next pasta cooking. When you strain the pasta use cold water after the straining, so the pasta is cold and it won’t be sticky. I do this all the time. Hope this will helppp
