Hey guys iSpiteful here bringing you a vehicle showcase for the Hannibal Wasp, one of two new Wasp variants added to Warzone within the Monitor's Bounty update!
So to open up, is this vehicle good? The answer is yes but it has its downsides which I will talk about a little later on. The Hannibal Wasp is an awesome vehicle and one that I have not been looking forward to seeing in Warzone since its initial leak a few months ago. Personally I have never been a fan of air vehicles in Warzone as I feel they are very overpowered and often change the tide of a game too easily. That aside I don't have a choice in the matter and the Hannibal Wasp (+ ONI Wasp) are here and they are certainly making an impact.
The Hannibal Wasp has gauss repeaters that can easily kill a fully shielded spartan in one burst (as long as you hit most of the shots). Its also has ion field bomb launchers which fire mini barrage of explosive which of course explode in range of enemies.
Its weaponry will decimate any ground targets including vehicles and that is impressive considering the vehicle is only 5 REQs in cost.
So overall the vehicle is great but it does have downsides. One being that it is very weak and can be killed quite easily if an enemy team groups together to focus it. Another being that the Hannibal Wasp is also countered by the ONI Wasp pretty badly and often gets out gunned in 1v1 air fights. Being at 5 REQs as well it can be very likely the enemy team will have access to Arclights which will decimate it. This is not something players encounter when using the standard wasp as it is often too early in the game.
Personally for me I would have preferred a higher REQ cost with more armor but not that it matters as I rarely use Air Vehicles :P!
