ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns with multi-Grammy-nominated Cuban-born singer-songwriter and actress Camila Cabello claiming her red chair alongside superstar returning coaches John Legend, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Carson Daly returns as host for Season 22.
The show's innovative format features four stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts and Live Performance Shows. This season's Battle Advisors include Charlie Puth (Team Camila), Jazmine Sullivan (Team Legend), Jimmie Allen (Team Blake) and Sean Paul (Team Gwen). For the first time ever, the third phase of the competition will include three-way knockouts.
In the Live Performance Shows, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast, and the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

He is amazing. You do not need to be in Hollywood to make it. Independent artist are becoming millionaires. Check out Ryan Upchurch, Adam Calhoun, Tom McDonald. Ryan went and Big Machine wanted to sign him. Gave him a guitar and promised he would take care of him. Ryan was never going to sign. This was when Breschit was screwing over Taylor Swift. Lucky he didn’t like a few days later he sold his lady to scooter Braun and he promised Ryan the world. Ryan can take time of because he is a millionaire, does stadiums. Videos, owns his music and does not have to pay a label a percentage. With social media there is no need for labels anymore

it takes a lot of guts for a seemingly rock/alternative artist who doesnt fit into your typical mainstream mold to get up there in front of millions of people who are expecting the same old boring voices and personalities you hear all the time - aka cookie cutter pop star - those people are the boring ones! this guy clearly has stage presence - (do you see how he rocks that guitar!!!!), an immense passion for music and by the looks of it - tons of cool stories to tell through song. i could definitely hear it in the few songs he has released when I looked up his band. mark my words he's going to be big. im excited to see where he goes from here.

I am so upset they didn't turn for him! such a unique voice that could've added so much to this competition.. i'm getting pretty frustrated with the coaches always going for the same basic type of pop or country artist :(

Yeah his tone was really cool but he was also pitchy, which actually suits the rock genre but not on 'The Voice' obviously. Hope he continues to pursue this lane though

I am disappointed tbh. Sometimes an audition does not have to be perfect. Sometimes the flaws and cracks makes a performance great. He deserved to be on the show. I pray he goes far in his career.

Unfortunate no one turned the auditions have been a bit weak this year in regards to uniqueness. I'm not a fan of this song but he won me over despite that. This was easily one of my favorite auditions so far.

At the top, He was struggling with the band and the pocket was so off. He had a good voice with presence, a little shred and also smoothness. I could see that he wasn't happy with that opening. No coaches turned.

@@bharatgoel8809 when being on the beat, you can be one of three things. 1. Ahead of the beat 2. Behind the beat 3. In the pocket - Being in the pocket means right on the beat and it typically means you can feel the beat while your singing.

He was so good! Just a little pitchy at parts, but the raw emotion definitely came through. don't know what Gwen and camilla were talking about. He definitely did both of those things. Sometimes rock is messy bc its so emotional. I hope he comes back or better yet makes it big!

So sad they didn't turn for him!!! I feel like the show is all pop and country... Hanny would have added a much needed missing sound! I think Mr. Jones by the Counting Crows maybe would've pushed in his favour.

Not really sure what’s going on this season, for me personally it feels like the talent level has gone way down, there’s issues between singers and the band with pockets, nerves taking over performances, pitch issues, etc. I will say though I love the coaching panel we have this year and makes each audition entertaining. There’s still one more episode to the blinds so we will see, but this season has unexpectedly been a dud so far.

So glad I could hear him on KZfaq, it's nuts no one turned. He's evidence that Dave Grohl was right, these shows don't pick talent,...with his voice he said he never would've been chosen. And Camila doesn't know Jewel?!? But she turned for the one's w/Justin Beiber covers and Ariana-type voices 🤦♀🤦♀🤦♀

Camila said her main vocal influence was Demi Lovato which is like there's nothing wrong with, but I think she's always been way into the pop scene and doesn't know too much about the classics or things that are rare or raw for that matter. When artists had tones or songs that sounded like they were derived from classic and real music she looked confused and at the other judges for like their input or an explanation when they would react positively to it.

I'm an 80s baby, but I know songs from a bunch of decades and genres (these songs are still on the radio btw!). She doesn't have enough seasoning in her experience yet
