It's not beef in Bun Cha , but pork . The green wrapping stuff is a leaf called La Lot , a kind of Betel leaf . 20K for a good shoe cleaning is a fair price in Hanoi . The restaurant where you got your coconut juice is actually one of the most expensive in this area , because of its nice location ( facing the lake ) . 8 years ago I already had to pay 35K for a small Aquafina bottle . 40k for the cyclo tour around the lake is a bit expensive . You could have an hour tour visiting different touristic spots for 120k or 150 k . But compared to Western , North East Asian and some other SEA countries ( Singapore , Thailand , Malaysia , Philippines , Brunei , Indonesia ...) , Vietnam is still a very affordable country to visit .
