It is SO true. The key to music appreciation is early exposure. I can remember hanging-out as a small child underneath my Mom’s piano while she played Chopin nocturnes and Beethoven’s Tempest. Grew up with a deep appreciation for the classical geniuses. Can honestly say that Beethoven was my personal life saver.

@@samjohnson3124 There are often secret resonance nodes in most cathedrals with large organs. If you can find it, you can bathe in sonic bliss. There are not words to describe the experience of being in the node and feeling it, INSIDE you, like liquid sound.

Listening to this masterpiece always brings tears to my eyes. These are tears of sadness and of nostalgia. This work evokes memories of somebody whom I loved dearly, then lost. I am 80 years old and these tears will not dry up during the time left for me in this life. Still, I would listen to your playing to the End.

I heard this the first time in June, I think. I just came back and listened again. My emotional reaction was the same as the last time, described below. At the same time, it dawned on me that this performer, Laura would be a great organist. I realize that she is first a piano teacher and player. However, through this piece I find that she has a tremendous talent for organ. It would be great if she could also include more organ works in her repertoire. I know that she must be a busy person who has children as well, plus the teacher's job. I thought that I would share these thoughts, because I believe that she is so talented and maybe I could have some influence in encouraging her to spend more time at the organ, time permitting.

Point n'est besoin de sonos tonitruantes pour accéder aux sommets de la sérénité de l'âme humaine. Pour la laisser s'épanouir, il faut l'inviter avec douceur et l'inciter à s'amplifier. Mille mercis à l'auteur et à l'interprète pour cette redirection vers la Vie. Et amitiés aux enfants.

Je ne connais pas Interstellar, je n'ai pas vu le film ni écouté la musique. Et c'est très bien comme ça. Cette superbe interprétation me donne tout ce que je pouvais souhaiter. Mon imagination fait le reste. Et la tunique à la "Spacer" est bien raccord avec le thème. Bravo !
