I try and play up the “cool guy” personality, doing all that “puppies are kinda cute I guess” “star wars was like decent” to seem edgy and cool so it’s tough for me to geek out over stuff and admit that it’s actually impacting me, and I tried to hold onto that mentality through watching part 2. But when Jessica drank the water of life and fetus Alia Atreides opened her eyes, mixed with Hans Zimmer going absolutely bananas on the soundtrack, I kinda just accepted that this movie is too good for me to try and put on that “ehh it was alright I guess” mentality. I had to keep reminding myself throughout that “no, you are enjoying this a lot, it is moving you emotionally, stop trying to dismiss that and let yourself enjoy it to the fullest extent possible” and as much as I feel like a dweeb for being so newly passionate about some sci-fi flick, THIS FUCCIN MOVIE ABSOLUTELY SLAPS! Hans Zimmer is a massive fan of the book which is the main reason why he chose to compose this instead of Tenet. So having him to make the music for Dune was absolutely brilliant. His score is really just as good as the film
@TheRockinBK2 жыл бұрын
Agreed but … just imagine how insane a Zimmer TENET score would be…
@4deleDaz33m2 жыл бұрын
@@TheRockinBK well I feel like Ludwig Gorranson managed to make the Tenet score feel so Hans Zimmery. If I didn't know who Gorrason is, I would just assumed that it's Zimmer who is because it does feel like Zimmer put his hands all over the screen with his music

@TheRockinBK2 жыл бұрын
@@4deleDaz33m I think Ludwig did an absolutely spectacular job in Tenet & I do agree you can still feel Zimmer’s presence in it but I would have liked to see what crazy innovations Hans would’ve done with the idea of inverted music.. but oh well, hopefully we’ll still see a Zimmer-Nolan reunion in the future!

@@fernhausluv44 I disagree, the more I watch Tenet the more I realize what an insanely intricate & meticulous puzzle it is. Plus It keeps you on your toes with its intensity. I don’t think there’s any other director than Nolan with the mental capacity to pull off such a project.
