He's 100% upgrade in comparison to Xavi, that's sure. How much better he will be and what team can achieve, it's a different question. Knowing how Flick works I expect- Lewandowski returning to his normal self and scoring way more goals, Barca playing way more attractive and offensive football, winning matches with more than 1 goal, downside is that they can lose more goals, but it was not good either under Xavi's coaching, but now they will definitely score more goals and matches will be more exciting to watch, key is too make defense more solid.

@@obkidschannel2021 It was 3 years ago, so he didn't decline that much, Xavi's tactics, lack of chances were main factor that caused Lewandowski to perform worse than he should. He's still physically fit, and he never was a player that based his playstyle on speed.

Honestly I’m pretty worried about having hansi on the team, he has only coached at the top for only a little bit being mostly an assistant coach and coach of the German national team. I am also worry that is strategy was high press high scoring games with strong players. While I do think making players stronger can reduce injuries which is a big problem for the team. Lewandoski is to old and yamal to young, and with Bayern fullbacks always being up which cancelo is good at but not as much so kounde and that leaves us ready for counterattacks from a team like Madrid with its insane speed and cancelo and kounde can’t keep up in. We could use balde for pace but he is still injured and will have to see his quality for being out for so long. Hopefully hansi can fix these issues or use diff tactics but we will see

Wait so dude said we won't need big transfers under Flick in the 1st and the proceeds to talk about signing Kimmich, Nico, Sane and getting Xavi simons on loan. That's literally what Xavi too asked for. I'm not against Flick but let's be honest. We can't hope to compete at the top level with a 16 yr old being our best player and no actual cdm. So tired of all the speculations. Facts are facts. 1. Barca has no…€. 2. No galactico player in the team who can attract other great payers to come to the club. Everyone is aiming for Real, La Liga title, CL title with players like Vinicius, Bellingham and now Mbappé. All the great ones would love to join Real. 3. There are more teams than ever, in La Liga, with better salaries than now. 7-8 teams, earn more, why go to a club with lower salary? Makes no sense. 4. Very few players in the A-team have that Barca fighting spirit/ that Barca mentality like Puyol had. Our La Masia talents don’t cut it. Look at Fati. Our hope is, that Yamal gets even better, same goes for Gavi & Pedri and that Roque starts playing much much better. Our youth players must step it up a lot now looking at Real’s squad. Most probably, Real is going to win everything again and even worse, they’ll be even better the next season. I hope Mr Flick creates some kind of a miracle and proves me wrong. Personally, l doubt he’ll improve any results.

It is not Flick, it is about players. Busques, Messi, Iniesta, Alves, Pique etc. The comparable players do not exist today. Flick does not play. Balde, Kunde etc are not up to it and the only really major man in front is Lewa (old), Rafinha could become one and Yamal as well. But likes of Neymar, Messi and Suarez they do not have and CANNOT buy. Flick is just another coach.

The actual liabilities is 2,777M at 30-06-2023 (554M long-term debts, 115M Provisions and long-term accruals, 217M Provisions and short-term accruals, 596M Debt, short-term creditors, 1097M for Espai Barça, etc.). The only change from 2022-2023 to 2023-2024 was a reduction of the net debt from 680 to 552. Based on the expenses and money losses by not achieving the sport objectives, I don't expect much difference. The salaries went from 250M (Gross) to 225M, not big savings. Source, FC Barcelona 2022-2023 annual report, page 235. If Barca keeps spending, it will have no option but to sell the club (partial). And LaPorta has commented that 6 months ago (as an option), after a trip to Middle East.
