2024 and goosebumps all over listening to this again. Hanson is a part of my childhood that was good and consistent.

I'm 40 now when I listen to this song 🎵 😭 I realize that I had a wonderful childhood. Hanson was one of my favorite bands.

I was 15 when i first listened to this...and now i'm 37 !!! This is gold !!!

They were our neighbors in Tulsa. I used to drive my pre-teen girls by their house so they could get a glimpse of them playing basketball in their yard. My friend called me to say the boys were scheduled for paintball and invited my girls to play! It was one of the most beautiful memories I have of being a mom! The girls were so excited and happy and talked about it for years…

Younger than N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys but had more talent than all of them combined. They didn't dance around on stage, gyrating and singing dirty songs to little girls. They played their instruments and sang with passion. These guys have class.

They all were so old before their time, incredible lyrics and beautiful harmonising. They truly were (and still are) pure souls. The memories I have of listening to these songs when I was very young really hurt my heart. One of the world’s greatest bands and musicians of history ❤

This song is now going to have a special place in my heart! grew up listening to this album on repeat because my sister was a huge fan! This song in particular was played non stop and I slowly grew to like some of their songs. This one was, in my opinion, their best release! Then I got a call 2 weeks ago saying that my younger sister had died from a heart attack ... at 36! Hours later, when my thoughts came back to me, this song was the first thing that I thought of! Every time I hear it, memories of our teenage years come to me and it's still bitter-sweet! I will come to you my sister, but until then, I'll always cherish the memories I have!

I’m 67yo and love listening to The Hanson Brothers. They would have been big in the late 60s and 70s … EXCELLENT musicians and lyricists!

They are my fave band during my childhood and never realize that this song is about God. I love them because of their talents and good looks and very catchy pop songs but never crossed my mind the deepness of the meaning of their songs. “When you have no light to guide you, and no one to walk beside you, I will come to you, when the night is dark and stormy, you won’t have to reach out for me, I will come to you” and if you observe the music video.. will give you goosebumps. Especially the part where it shows a hand reaching for the light. 🙏 God bless everyone
