American singer Krishna Das gives a concert to benefit the Tibetan Children's Village, mesmerizing a large audience with his unique and soul-stirring spiritual chants, in the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts in McLeodganj, Dharamsala, India on 30th April 2013.
Kirtan was a sell-out with all of 500 seats occupied -- and about 100 more people, at least, who wanted to buy tickets. There was a crowd listening outside the auditorium. The kirtan was powerful and beautiful. KD even did an encore -- he sat back down after the standing ovation and did one Hanuman Chalisa.
