Lord Hanuman is 11 th rudra avatar of lord shiva( the destroyer). Lord Hanuman is one of the the 7 immortals in hindu religion, he is so powerful that when he was a child he saw sun and thought it was a fruit and tried to eat it but Indra( king of gods) used vajra his most powerful weapon because of which hanuman ji got unconscious and wind god his god father got angry and stopped air flow and living beings started dying. To stop this destruction lord shiva brought hanuman ji out Unconsciousness and all god gave him blessing like Indra dev immune him from his vajra and also his body become as strong as vajra itself, wind god gave him power to fly as fast as wind without any drag, he can shrink to size of micro organism to as big as he wants and many more because of which no evil being can come near him that's why he also worship for courage, wisdom, strength and Decipline
