Hanway Furious NK 125 Review. The perfect beginner motorcycle? In the uk you can ride one if you are 17 years old or older. All you need is a provisional driving licence and have completed a CBT. This bike at £2799 is really good value and should definitely be considered for your first bike or if you are looking at down sizing for something a bit lighter.

I really wished I'd bought the Hanway SC instead of the Bluroc Legend I opted for. Although looks were important and i wanted that old British motorcycle look, the performance is woeful and you don't ever look cool struggling to maintain a decent speed 😅 Hopefully I'll make a better choice of a slightly bigger bike next year if I get my full licence.

Can you fit a 125cc through a standard front door to keep it in the gaff?

Most 125’s will fit through a doorway. But if that’s what your looking for you will need to get the tape measure out to make sure.

I’m not sure about that. I will ask in the garage. I’m sure it will have a few year’s warranty but not sure on recovery

It does appear to be where they got there inspiration from. On the plus side it’s about half the price of the KTM.

Iv been told by so many to stay away from the chinese bikes (hanway, keeway, benelli, etc) as my first 125 and stick with the big Japanese 4. However you talking close to 2k difference in price for a similar milage bike which i think cant be justified. Also after a bit of research the mid tier ones such as the ktm duke and husky svartpilen (essentially the same bike) are made in India! So not even sure they are of supposed better quality either.

I’ve owned Benelli’s and I have a voge now. The cheaper brands are making some really good bikes now. The Chinese bikes have a bad rep because they were sending some really rubbish tat over. But the modern keeway, voge, Hanway, Benelli should keep going for years.

Well most 125s are built in China. The honda cb125r and f are built in Italy. The yamaha mt is built in india and Indonesia. Yamaha and honda also have their 125s or under built in China. Even the Italian bikes and scooters are built in China or Vietnam. If you loom after a Chinese bike with regular maintenance, servicing and a coat of acf50 it'll last just as long as honda. Etc. Even hondas paint finishing isn't the best. They rust within a year if not maintained.

Settled on a Kawasaki z125 after getting a good deal on it. Having removed the fairings etc its plastered with made in Indonesia stickers on the frame! Seems made in Japan is for the big bikes!

@clarkie005 pretty much all 125’s are made as cheap as possible. Doesn’t matter which brand.
