Basically the previous shaman king wants to get rid of Hao via a majority vote of no confidence. Hao himself has very different plans ( like always ).

@@razumahiroki9216 That's part of it. You already know what Hao's plan is, he is planning to wipe out humanity. The other gods don't like this idea and would stop him ( its the reason he hasn't done so already. It has nothing to do with doing Yoh a favor ).

Aw, I didn't watched remake because I'm too nostalgic about old "Shaman King" and don't want to destroy that sweet memories. But I'm happy it's far more faithful to source. Buuuut fact that Yoh and Anna had child as teenagers because there was chance that Yoh may die in tournament still rub me wrong way. Not to mention they left the boy with Tamao and Ryu. Sorry for spoilers.

I say you should definitely give the manga a shot at the very least. it got that same classic anime vibe and has a better paced story than both adaptations. +the art is just superb

oh come on, it's not that bad after don't forget the unspoken rule of Shonen Jump is that the MC NEVER has complete set of parents EVER, maybe a Mom or a Dad (usually the Dad) but never both, but since Flowers is a legacy sequel both his parents are former MCs but they still aren't really allowed to take care of their child because thats the stereotype for some reason....

This is sequel to Shaman King, called Shaman King Flower think of it like Boruto of Shaman King. The Mc is Yoh and Anna son, Hana who pretty much like Boruto an annoying taleneted brat, who often beating people he didn't like, because both of his parent are not around. Amidamaru, Ryu, Tamao and the three girl subordinate of Hao are the one raising him.

Zeke(old) : Badass, killed people, made sof eat shamash and he got killed by Yoh Hao(new): Badass, killed two x laws teams, massacred an entire human fleet of ships, wanted to eat the souls of his subordinates, made sof eat the spirit of a little girl, noone could beat him, they gave up.

Can we agree that the two worlds are parallel universes to each other and that Zeke and Hao(As I distinguish them as) were both bad asses and extremely powerful just had different weaknesses and goals in each end of the split timeline. One wanted absolute power and was power hungry! Thus why he killed only specific people since he had a direct goal to cheat and get the king of spirits heart. And the other wanting to win out right and exercising his dominance on anyone that could oppose him directly. Side note. Neither Zeke or Hao were cowerds just different breed of monsters.
