My goodness what a book full of gold nuggets. 16 months because of its depth! What a great study. This goes to show that Gods word never comes back void, so anyone can deliver it and it will do what it will do. Yes IN Christ. I actually say this often. Christ Follower as in follow His teachings. In Christ means abide in Christ. Intertwined. Water baptismal is symbolic of the decision you made, Holy Spirit baptism is receiving His spirit within.

How do we become doers of the Word and keep from sinning? ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ (Zechariah 4/6) If it’s the Spirit within us, how can we take credit? We can’t. Also, their are many today who believe the fruit of the Spirit is a successful ministry, your finances and how well you are socially connected, but that not found in the Bible. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. If you’re a believer and display these character traits, you are more than likely, filled with the Holy Spirit. Yes, you can have ministry, finances, social connections and not have the Holy Spirit.

I asked God to use me. I just barely got through COVID. It was rough. Detoxing and praying. Stayed off the internet. I am grateful for His GLORY. Give Him All Glory. He answered my prayer. I did not want to give up. He Knows

I accept the job Jesus gave me today. Oh my LORD brought me out of hell. Into a good life today. I lived a hard life but GOD put a rope in my tigers tail. He Got my full attention about my selfish sins.

Great message Pastor Jack. I find most people who say they are a Christian have no concept of what Christ has done for them nor do they know who they are in Christ Jesus. I can agree that being in Christ should be confirmed between each other in Christ. I meet many so called Christians that come to know Him personally after asking them who they are in Christ. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.

Here is what I have learned: we are commanded to forgive others, as we expect to be forgiven. Christ died for ALL of my ( and yours) sins. We are told to love God with our whole heart, mind, body and soul. But NOWHERE are we commanded to forgive ourselves. Not that we can or have the authority to even do so. We lay our sins, by confession and repentance, at the foot of the cross, then spend the rest of our lives here, and in eternity, thanking Christ for His loving sacrifice and glorious resurrection. All praise , honor, glory and thanksgiving be to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My sins are covered! And I live in joy anticipating the day when I can bow before Him and thank Him personally. Amen.

Jack i live in Dublin, ga. It's hard to find a church that peaches like you! There isn't any unity or real Godly love for one another😢. There is so much clicks. It's all family groupies and you don't fit in. We were going to Calvery chapel in Fort valley and something terrible happened and my husband and I moved away from the church with broken hearts😭. We are back in Dublin, ga with our kids and no church to be apart of. We lost our health temporarily for a couple of years and live in our fifthwheel and lived at the church, That's what brought us to CCHeartland. The pastors stepped down because of unrepenting sin and he left the faith. Please pray for us.

If we keep playing in a sin one believes I can step in and back out . Each time we step in that sin look at it as a tire is put at your feet . It starts with one tire the first time , we step in another tire is added . Until we step in one time to many we cannot step out of the tires . They hold us inside of the tires , sin does this we step in so many times . Until we can no longer step in and out , the sin consumes us .

I went to a Bible study done by an ex Catholic priest. We went 10 yrs and never finished Romans. His wife and I memorized Romans 8. Both are with the Lord - she went in her 40s He at 60. Gods timings He was the president of Gospel outreach a ministry to Catholics

I live in Greece and the Greeks are Orthodox Believers. Unfortunately Mary, mother of Jesus is above all...for them. she is believed to set you free from your sins. I am a born again Christian a Penticostle. There must be about 15.000 of us here in Greece. I am also baptised by the Holy Spirit and pray in tongues. Sometimes I can interpret when I am praying in tongues. Do you believe in praying in different tongues.? I would like to hear anyone's opinion in the comment page. I always listen to Pastor Jack's sermons . He is one most respected one.

So, if baptism is an announcement of your salvation experience, should we as parents be baptized again now that our kids are of the age that we want them to make that decision? I definitely was baptized as an adult in college, but I get so excited watching the baptisms, and it is not really about me, but about sharing my decision to follow Christ, shouldn't I be baptized at every opportunity? That feels a little performance-y...but my kids...I want them to want what God wants...

Without the front of the book a new believer does not know what sin is. The instructions teach us how to live. Yes Yeshua paid the price, there is nothing we can do but to acknowledge Yeshua’s sacrifice BUT we are responsible to read the word and be obedient.
